Rosehip seed oil is prized since ancient times for its invaluable health and beauty benefits; it is loaded with skin nourishing vitamins and essential fatty acids. It also contains phenols that have been shown to have antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal properties. Rosehip oil is often used as a carrier oil for essential oils for added benefits. The fatty acids in Rosehip make it an excellent hydrator to make dry, itchy skin soft and supple. The skin also easily absorbs the oil, allowing its antioxidants to travel deep into the skin’s layers. Rosehip oil is high in vitamin A and C, and retinol, which makes it a natural exfoliant and brightens up your skin. Vitamin C also aids in cell regeneration, boosting overall radiance; this makes it an ideal moisturiser for anti-aging as it enhances collagen formation. This vitamin rich oil is also known to protect against sun damage and reduce hyperpigmentation. As it is a natural exfoliator it helps fade away scars and even out your skin tone.

 

How to use: 

Can be used once or twice daily. Ideally once at bedtime, after application of water-based products. You can simple take two drops in your palm, warm the oil with your fingers and gently massage it on your face and neck.

Always do a patch test. Keep out of reach of children. If you are pregnant, nursing, or under a doctor’s care, consult your physician. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas.  Store in a cool, dark place. The fragrance of this oil is not an indication of rancidity, Rosehip seed oil that does not have a fragrance is refined and offers reduced benefits.

    What is the shelf life of my product?

    All beauty products need to be used by a certain period. This is known as the 'period after opening' and can be easily identified by the PAO symbol. The symbol can be recognised as the shape of an opened jar, and will have a number inside; 9M will indicate 9 months, 12M is 12 months, and 36M is 36 months. Once opened the product should be used in this period, as after this time the quality of the product will deteriorate.
