Wheatgerm oil is derived from wheat germ; which is considered the heart of the wheat. Wheatgerm is the most nutritious component of the wheat kernel and contains nutrients like B vitamin, proteins, omega-3 fatty acids and iron. Wheat-germ oil is readily absorbed by the skin, which makes it an effective moisturizer. When applied to your skin, wheatgerm oil delivers a healthy infusion of vitamin A, vitamin D, B vitamins, antioxidants and fatty acids. These nutrients not only moisturize and heal dry or cracked skin, they also help prevent scarring. In particular, wheatgerm oil is a rich source of vitamin E, which helps reduce skin damage, fight free radicals, support healthy collagen formation and maintain even skin tone.     Usage & Precaution

    How to use:

    • Add 1-2 drops to your moisturizer and massage your face and neck twice daily

    • Create your own facial oil by mixing 10-15% wheatgerm oil with other oils such as jojoba oil or essential oils like sandalwood, geranium etc

    • Add a few drops to a carrier oil to use as massage oil for tissue repair

    Caution:

    Possible skin sensitivity; always do a patch test. Keep out of reach of children. If you are pregnant, nursing, or under a doctor’s care, consult your physician. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. Always dilute the essential oil with any carrier oil (coconut oil, almond oil, jojoba oil, etc) to avoid skin sensitivity.

    Are your products organic / natural?

    What is the shelf life of my product?

    All beauty products need to be used by a certain period. This is known as the 'period after opening' and can be easily identified by the PAO symbol. The symbol can be recognised as the shape of an opened jar, and will have a number inside; 9M will indicate 9 months, 12M is 12 months, and 36M is 36 months. Once opened the product should be used in this period, as after this time the quality of the product will deteriorate.
